Welcome!

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at YaleMy research uses large linked datasets to study issues in labor, public, and urban economics, focusing on the design and empirical evaluation of policies that are relevant to low-income households.

I am a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and I'm affiliated with Opportunity Insights, the University of Chicago Inclusive Economy Lab, the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities, and CAGE. I graduated from the University of Chicago with a PhD in economics in 2019, and subsequently I was a Saieh Family Research Fellow at the Becker Friedman Institute and an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at Harvard. Before moving to Chicago, I studied at the London School of Economics and at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
